Overview
We are seeking a passionate, growth-minded Sports Performance Head Coach to lead the development and delivery of our Sports Performance Program. This role is ideal for a coach who thrives in both coaching and sales environments, is excited about building athlete-centered programs, and wants to grow into a full-time leadership position within a high-performance facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the Sports and Performance Program through strategic outreach, relationship building, and local partnerships
- Deliver coaching across multiple disciplines:
- Sports Performance: 3 hours/week (expanding as program grows)
- Weightlifting: 3.5 hours/week
- Additional hours available: Consultations & HYROX Training Classes.
- Design and implement comprehensive athlete development programs
- Track and report on key program metrics, including athlete retention and satisfaction
- Collaborate with in-house teams for events, floor coverage, and community initiatives
- Contribute to a high-performance culture built on trust, discipline, and measurable results
- Execute grassroots marketing by securing and attending community events.
Position Metrics
- Program Growth: +1 sports teams/quarter & net +1 athletes/month
- Net Promoter Score (NPS): 9.0+
- Churn Rate: ≤ 4.0%
- Gain 2+ qualified prospects a quarter from grassroots marketing
Skills & Competencies
- Proven experience in Coaching across youth, high school, or collegiate levels
- Strong understanding of program design, periodization, and LTAD principles
- Confident communicator with a background or interest in sales and community engagement
- Team player who thrives in dynamic, collaborative environments
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple coaching tracks effectively
- Professional Certifications Required (i.e. NSCA, NASM, USAW, etc.)
Compensation & Hours
- Base Pay: $30/hour, ($22,000 - $44,000 per year)
- Hours: Part-Time W2 Employee (min 14 hours/week) with a clear path to full-time
- Team Contract Sales Commission: 35%
- Personal Training Rate: $42.50 - $52.50/hour
